At the top of a small hill at the village Kastri there is a castle. We do not have any other information about it. Its origin and its history are unknown to us.
This castle should not be confused with another location called "Kastri" in the region, closer to Makrakomi , where there is also a castle (an ancient one, hence out of scope).

| Approach to the monument: |
| From Lamia, follow the NR to Karpenisi. The road goes through Kastri, where we turn left. The castle is very close, next to the cemetery of the village. |

| There is a fence that makes the access difficult, but otherwise the castle is neglected. |
