Short presentation of mansions that look like castles but are not, so they do not have their own page in Kastrologos
It is a small group of buildings constructed in the period from the middle of 19th until the beginning of the 20th century.
Their architecture belongs to the neo- Gothic rhythm, a style which was never very popular in Greece.
The thing that these buildings had in common was their resemblance to medieval castles and palaces using pseudo-defensive characteristics such as towers, arched gates, crenelation and other elements such as coat-of-arms shields etc..
